Various fixation methods have been used for tibiotalcalcaneal arthrodesis (TTCA), including; multiple screws, pediatric blade plate, and external fixation. This study evaluated the compression in an intramedullary hindfoot arthrodesis cadaver using an external fixator and a “second generation” intramedullary compression nail.
